John: Over the past two decades Phuket has earned the right to be regarded as true for major game fishing, offering boats, hotels and standard of well-heeled anglers expect. In the last eighteen I lived and fished the waters around Phuket as captain charter fishing, I have many changes, some for better, sometimes for worse - and some things that not change.

Fish are creatures of habit, and when suddenly the food they were used to obtain a certain place is gone, they will move and find another source.
Simon: So with all that happens, Phuket is a great fishing destination?
John: Absolutely, yes it is! Many of our fishermen have the best fights of their lives, especially with a large number of boats around the islands of Racha Yai and Racha Noi, even in the low tourist season from May to September. Some fishers
